Eco-Worthy 40A MPPT Solar Charge Controller 12V/24V DC Input with Bluetooth and Wireless Remote for Solar, RV and Off-Grid

Purchased for an off grid set up with Eco-Worthy Solar Panels and Battery. Comes well packaged and the quality of the unit externally looks excellent. Wiring and mounting is straight forward and terminals are of good quality securing terminations very securely. The only issue being as others mentioned is access to terminals due to the terminal cover on the back of the unit not accessible when the Controller is mounted, but not a major issue. Comes with manual for both Controller and Module which guides you through the set up procedure. After wiring, battery type and Bluetooth Module set up is straight forward and Bluetooth connection through the App reliable (same App for battery as well) Works well connected to the Solar Panels but not much sun around at the moment to see how it fully performs. So far pleased that the system works as a package.

Working well so far. I like that you can see the charge load in real time.

The Solar Mate software is functional enough but is a bit annoying to use. Sometimes it won’t save settings and won’t tell you why and the back button requires precise touching to work. Now that I’ve got used to its quirks I’m happy enough with it.

I have the parameters set just how I like to keep battery in optimum health.

The charge controller works well with 260 Watts of charge coming from the solar panels. I could not connect the bluetooth module to my iphone despite repeated attempts over two hours. I will make-do without bluetooth control.

I have had six of these units running now for over six months and they have been performing faultlessly. When the units are producing maximum output they do get warm, as you would expect, so bear this in mind when locating and mounting them. The application for data reporting and to change settings works well via bluetooth.
