·Generate More Power: This solar tracker makes the mounted panels turn face to sunlight any daytime, which causes the PV power generation increase at least 40%.
·1-Year Warranty: This product comes with a 1-year warranty for added peace of mind. Rest assured that if there are any issues within the first 12 months after purchase, you can rely on the manufacturer's commitment to support.
·270°Rotation: The solar tracker can rotate for 270° and make the panels to absorb the sun irradiance from north, south, west and east sides.
·Steady in Wind: The air speed sensor will detect heavy wind, so the solar tracker will auto reset the angle to horizon for keeping steady. Also the expanding screws will make the base firmly stand in hurricane without problem.
·For Yard/Farm/Field: Only require for 114.2" by 114.2" ground space, 3.93 feet height. It can be easily mounted in yard, farm, field and flat roof.

ECO-WORTHY dual axis solar tracking system can control the dual-axis linear actuator to make the solar panel to follow the sunlight, Keep the solar panel always face the sunlight. Dual-axis solar tracker controller is a basic component for the dual-axis solar tracker system. It can work with 12V linear actuator, and make the solar tracker can substantially improve the amount of power produced by a system by enhancing morning and afternoon performance. Our dual-axis solar tracker with smart weather detector, stop working on cloudy days. Flat the solar panel during nighttime or rainy day. Flat the solar panel in the storm. It is a system which places the solar panels high on a pole and tracks them toward the sun all day. Production from a dual-axis solar tracker will increases annual output by approximately 40% compare to a fixed solar system.

Great value for the price, but not without problems

Does what was promised: my panels track the sun. That is, when it is a sunny day. On cloudy days however it just tries to find the brightest part in the sky: it makes a lot of unneeded movements and those movements can be quite large too. And that is where one problem starts: the motors are rather loud, so on cloudy days there's a lot of noise coming from the device.
Another problem is with wind detection: the value listed after W: in the controller screen does not seem to be related to the rotating speed of the wind sensor. As a result I don't know if the setting for the wind protection needs changing or not, or even that it works at all. I've checked the sensor using a volt meter and the output does increase when the sensor spins faster. Yet the controller doesn't show this. Also, we haven't had any hard winds yet, but even with only a little wind the panels show a lot of movement: all of the joints are quite loose. I'm a bit worried for what will happen if a storm does come by: it will move a lot, that's for sure, but will the wind protection kick in in time? On top of that, the action it takes seem quite risky: when it detects a hard wind, the panels will first move to the furthest east, then move back to the horizontal position. In other words, it will first move the panels through every position in which the panels catch as much as possible of the wind, only to move to the middle position after that. I understand this is because the controller has no absolute positioning, but this doesn't seem like the safest strategy to me.

Yet, I'm still impressed with the simplicity of the design for this price. I do intend to replace the controller with one of my own design though. I will try to address the large amount of movements by having the tracker point to the calculated position of the sun throughout the day, plus the abrupt movements and loud motor noises by applying a h-bridge instead of relays, so I can make the motors do a slow start and stop. And of course I will try to find a better approach for positioning the panels into the night and wind-protection positions.

Solar tracker review. Test stand

Very impressed with the price and qauilty.
Its response to sun light was prefect facing towards where it was in the sky.
We put it on a pallet to test the system before we choice a suitable test location.

item is not yet installed

I am unable to rate this item yet because I'm waiting for a suitable base to be built in my garden for it to be installed. Thank you for your prompt delivery of my purchase.

Surprised

Having seen a lot of videos on this, I decided to get one to try. I’ve put it on a pallet in my garden so I can keep a check on it just using a 400w portable solar panel. When we have the sun, it is tracking it perfectly and charges my battery pack well. Will run it through the winter to play with and if it continues like this I can see me getting at least one more. At the moment, for the price, VERY impressed as are others who have seen it. Download the building instructions from the website as my book was a little different and I wish I had done this first, also remember, stainless steel bolts don’t always come apart again when put together.
