I needed to upgrade my camper’s electric system to give me better off grid clean energy for longer. 280ah battery and 40 dc to dc charger is great to power my van off grid for days especially when topped up with the solar. Green energy and better living.
I got into keeping koi a few years ago and now at 20 it’s basically taking up all my time and spare cash. I love these fish but the anxiety of running a pond on grid power is honestly the worst. Whenever there’s a bad storm or the lights even flicker, I panic because if those air pumps stop running my fish won’t last long without oxygen. I’m desperately trying to build a standalone solar backup just for the pond’s life support so they aren’t relying on the grid. Being able to wire 280ah battery would be huge for me. I wouldn’t have to stress about losing them every time the weather gets rough.
Positive impact by using technology.
I’d like an integrated solar charge controlle, mains battery charger and inverter all in one package. This would remove much wiring and simplify the installation process. It would also eliminate many issues caused by amateur installs. Simple connection from 3 components, the batteries, solar panels and system charge / discharge management.
These batteries are amazing even when stolen and get dropped over a fence about 6 feet tall all that happens is top comes off and still work perfect and last along time running 12v lights in caravan with 2 130w panels
